Best digital arts

Digital arts can be used to make what were earlier called sculptures, paintings, etc. They are probably the best example of the phrase, ‘world going online’. There are various ways in which these new wonders of the digital world can be created using different kind of software. The best part about these software that are used to make art pieces are that they are constantly updated and made better, faster and more effective.

Digital art can be made using fractals or algorithmic art or even by creating vector images. Irrespective of the jargon, the sheer variety that digital arts offer are a perfect recipe for their success. Besides, the other parameter which ensures success for any art form has always been the availability it has to the masses. Being available to everyone who has access to digital technology, its potential is not only enormous, but also rapidly expanding.

Another way to segregate the many digital arts available are their division into 2D, 3D still and 3D motion, the last of which is also called digital animation. A 2D image is a two directional image which is flat and does not have a z-axis. On the other hand, 3D images are those which are rounded and support the visual perception of seeing an image on all three axes. Digital animation is nothing but these 3D objects in motion. To simplify this, a 2D object is something which is like a painting, while a 3D object is something like a sculpture. Digital animation, had no parallel before this.
